Q: What are the Mas Camp’s opening hours?
A: Our opening hours are Monday – Friday, 12pm – 6pm. Can’t visit our office? No problem send us an email via info@purecarnivaltt.com

Q: Where can I view PURE’s costumes?
A: Our costumes are in display in our showroom, located at 3 Rosalino St, Woodbrook. See opening hours above. Unable to visit our showroom? Check out our costume gallery!

Q: What do I need for costume registration?
A: For registration, you need the following:

Size Information:

  • Ladies: Bra Size (34A, B, C), Waistband Size (in inches), Bottom Piece Size (S, M, L)
  • Ladies: Bra Option (Bikini, Strapless Bra, Monokini)
  • Ladies: Bottom Piece Option (Bikini, Thong, Hot Shorts, Cover-Up Bottom)
  • Men: Waist Size (in inches)

Downpayments:
Backlines & Males: TT$2,200 (US$352); Frontlines TT$4,000 (US$576).

Always register through the PURE Mas Camp or via our committee to ensure that your registration is valid.

Q: Can I order extra items with my costumes?
A: Different costumes may have different additional options. Standard additional options on all costumes for ladies are bottom piece options:

  • Additional Bikini Bottom – $125 TT / $20 US
  • Additional Thong – $125 TT / $20 US
  • Additional Hot Shorts – $150 TT / $24 US
  • Cover – Up Bottom – $180 TT / $29 US

Costumes may come with options for larger headpieces, backpacks and other embellishments at an additional cost. These options will be detailing on the registration page and in the section photo galleries, along with the cost attached.

Q: How do I register to play with PURE?
A: PURE may offer a limited number of costumes for open registration, based on availability. Join our mailing list to receive regular updates on registration dates.

Q: I did not get a costume … Can I be placed on a waiting list?
A: Please log your name on our online waiting list and we will contact you if any spots become available

Q: I’ve purchased a costume from another masquerader… How do I transfer the costume to my name?
A: PURE does not facilitate costume transfers. If you cannot collect your costume in person, please take the time to let us know who will be collecting on your behalf. This will ensure a quick and smooth collection process. This notification can be done via your online account at www.ultimatemas.com. Anyone collecting a costume must present a valid form of ID at the time of collection. If you are collecting for yourself, you must have your ID. If you have authorized someone to collect on your behalf, they must have their ID. Further information can be obtained in the Pump With PURE tab.

Q: I’ve purchased a costume after the cut-off date – what do I need to collect the costume?
A: The original owner must enter the new owner’s name in their costume account to authorise collection. Further information can be obtained in the Pump With PURE tab.

Q: I’m unable to collect my costume … Can another person collect on my behalf?
A: Yes, please visit the Pump With PURE tab for information on how to authorize another person to collect your costume.

Q: When do I collect my costume?
A: The costume distribution schedule will be emailed to all masqueraders, posted to our website and advertised on our social media accounts. Different sections will have different distribution dates. The final date of costume distribution is Carnival Friday, after which all uncollected costumes are no longer available.

Q: I missed my collection date – what do I do?
A: You can collect your costume on any day after your designated date, however priority is given to persons collected on their designated day.

Q: What is the Fast Track service?
A: Fast Track is a priority service provided by PURE which allows masqueraders who have paid in full for their costumes a minimal wait time when collecting their costumes. Fast Track persons are given top priority in the costume collection process.

Q: When do I need to pay for my costume?
A: Your down-payment must be paid upon registration, otherwise you order will be incomplete and immediately cancelled. Costumes must be paid in full prior to collection and can be paid for in house immediately before collecting the costume (Cash & LINX only). Masqueraders can also make advance payments at PURE’s Mas Camp (Cash & LINX only) and online via Credit Card (Visa & MasterCard).

Q: How can I pay for my costume?
A: PURE accepts Cash and LINX in house, and Credit Cards (Visa & MasterCard) online. Cheques are not accepted for payment.

Q: I’ve collected my costume, but it does not fit.
A: Visit our Guest Services department at distribution and we’ll assist with any adjustments that need to be made.

Q: What do I get when I come to Costume Distribution?
A: You will receive your costume box, a PURE Goody Bag, filled with carnival essentials & PURE Wristband. Your costume is not complete without a wristband and masqueraders not wearing their wristband will be removed from the band.

Q: I have a comment / complaint – who do I speak to?

Q: What does PURE’s all-inclusive package include?
A: PURE’s all-inclusive package includes premium alcoholic & non-alcoholic drink, meals, security, on-site paramedics, mobile restrooms & of course your costume. For more details visit the On de Road page.

Q: Who are PURE’S affiliates?
A: PUREE is affiliated with BLISS Carnival, TRIBE Carnival, ROGUE Carnival, The Lost Tribe, Red Ants Carnival, Ultimate Events Ltd., as well as several other marketing groups. Please visit the Pump With PURE page for an updated Committee & Affiliate listing. Please do not be fooled by any other groups posing as PURE partners.

Q: What is a “Private” Section?
A: A private sections is a franchised section designed and produced by an independent party. PURE’s current Sections Leaders are Humzee, Richard & Anthony and Sheena Ali. PURE also has several Marketing Affiliates – please visit the Pump with PURE page for an up to date list of affiliates.

Q: I forgot my password, what do I do?
A: Please email info@purecarnivaltt.com to have your password reset.

Q: I would like to play as a character / individual for Carnival – who do I contact?
A: Please email the Mas Camp at info@carnivaltribe.com or contact the Mas camp for information on individual costumes.

Q: Does PURE provide Monday wear?
A: PUREE does not provide Monday Wear, and encourages our masqueraders to wear part of their costume on Carnival Monday to ensure easy recognition by our Security Team.

Q: Where is my section in the band lineup?
A: The band lineup is published in the Member’s Guide which masqueraders receive at costume distribution. Band lineup is based on a variety of factors and hence cannot be determined at the time of registration.

Q: I’m interested in providing a service / becoming a sponsor of PURE – who do I contact?
A: Please email our Band Leader, Dean Ackin, with your proposal at info@purecarnivaltt.com.

Q: Can my husband/wife jump in the band?
A: PURE only allows paying masqueraders to jump in the band. Non-masqueraders may observe from the sidelines outside the band, however they will not be allowed to participate.

Q: Where does the band meet?
A: The starting point is located in Port of Spain – be sure to check your members guide for specifics!

Q: What time does mas begin?
A: The band departs at 10am on Carnival Monday and 7am on Carnival Tuesday. The band also breaks for lunch on both days at a designated rest stop.
